I'm back to posting some updates for you since i have been extremely with my job and a few life issues that have got in the way but i will be posting a huge amount of reviews so get ready to see a lot more post from me in the coming weeks!
Today's post will be very late but better late then never, i will be posting my March Wrap up and what you can expect me to be reading in April.
March Wrap up
March so far has been my biggest reading month for the year i read a total of 11 books which has been a huge achievement as i haven't read that many books in a month in a very long time! but with lets get on with my March wrap up!
Tomorrow When The War Began
by John Marsden
Books 3-7
Tomorrow when the war began was the second ever series that i had ever picked up and it quickly become one of my all time favourite series. I first read this series back in 2010 and i felt like i wanted to return to it so 8 years later i decided to just that and see if my opinions changed in 8 years.
I re-read the first two books in February and i finished the rest of the series in march and i still got that feeling that i did the first time and all that excitement i had reading this series the first time came flooding back to me and it was an awesome feeling.
I will give you a little oversight of this series if you have never read it before, This series is set in Australia and follows 16 year old Ellie Linton who lives a very nice normal life on a farm in a town, one day Ellie and 6 other friends decide to go on a camping trip but things soon change when an invading enemy army invades Australia soon after a war begins and for Ellie and her friends it means fighting for their country but most importantly fighting for their lives.
My opinions on this series hasn't changed since the first time i read it, i still find it exhilarating and exciting as i did the first time i read it. It's one of the series that impacted me as a reader and continues to do so today and i feel like this series helped shape the YA and Love OZ YA movement here in Australia, so please if you ever get the chance to pick this series up please do!

The Bone Season
by Samantha Shannon
The next two books that i read in March were in the Bone season by Samantha Shannon and i will be posting two separate reviews for these two books because i have a lot of feelings and opinions on these two books. The Bone Season was a re-read for me since i had forgotten what i had read in the first book so i wanted to make sure i had an idea of what was going on before i got stuck into the second book of the series.
This series is so different and so new that i love the world that Samantha has created and i cannot wait to see where the books are taken in book 3, because this series has so much potential i don't want it ruined for me.

I don't think theres hasn't been a single year since i started reading that i have not had a Harry Potter book in my life. So i was delighted to see that they released an entire book dedicated to Harry Potter and the Magic history behind it all. I was fascinated with all the history that went into this series and how much real life history impacted J.K Rowling and the process of this story.
This was a simple must have in my Harry Potter collection and i highly recommend that any harry potter fan go out and grab this book because you will learn so much and will want to have this book in your collection!

Nevernight #1 (The Nevernight Chronicles)

Nevernight is the first book in the Nevernight Chronicles by aussie author Jay Kristoff and its the first in a fantasy series. I won't go into much detail with this book either because i plan to write a full review for this book! It was definitely something that was out of my comfort zone and something i have never read before.

The Last Days Of Us
By Beck Nicholas
The Last Days of Us is a aussie YA novel by australian author Beck Nicholas and this book centres around a teenage girl Zoey. with her life going off the rails in the last six months and now dealing with the tragic loss of her brother, Zoey'd partying is out of control and she is now estranged from her best friend Cass. She also pushes away her now ex boyfriend Finn, so when her destructive life reaches dangerous levels she must pull herself together and fix the life she destroyed, There’s just one complication Finn is now dating Cass.
This book for me was a disappointment and i'm not much of a contemporary reader anymore so when i do find contemporary books i want them to wow me and this one didn't do that and i was sad because it had the potential to be really good but for me this book wasn't that.

Ready Player One
By Ernest Cline
This book was another re-read for me and with the movie already released i just had to re-read the book before i went to see the movie. I love this book for a few different reasons, firstly i love the game aspect of it because i'm a person who is a gamer so seeing all the different ways the characters interacted to each game and the Virtual reality itself set my inner gamer alight.
Secondly i loved the pop culture references and it's something that i'm always trying to get a hold of and i think its a testament to Gilmore Girls that i got my love of pop culture references from but this book was very pop culture heavy and i was overjoyed that i actually knew a lot of these references.
I will be going more in depth with a review for this book so stay tuned for that review when it comes out!

Gemina
By Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff
The final book that i read in the month of march was Gemina by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff and this book was also another re-read for me. I was lucky enough to attend the launch of this book when they toured back in 2016 and i got to meet the authors and listen to them talk about this series.
The second book in this series is my favourite out of the 3 and i cannot wait to read Obsidio and i'm a little sad and nervous because the third book is the last one in the series so i'll be getting ready to say goodbye to these characters and the world.

Ok, now that i have done my March wrap up it's time to move on to April and i'm about to tell you what i'm going to be reading during this month. With my goodreads goal at 95 books for 2018 i need to get a whole chunk of reading done to stay ahead of my goal and hopefully get there by the time the year ends.
